Mrs. Slobberworth’s began with a simple belief: dogs deserve care that honors both their bodies and their hearts. What started as a small training service has grown into a full, Fear Free–inspired grooming and care experience built around comfort, trust, and positive handling.

Where It All Started: Training With Heart

Our roots are in training — patient, relationship‑based work focused on helping dogs feel confident, understood, and safe. We learned early on that when dogs are given choice, clarity, and kindness, they thrive. That foundation shaped everything that came next.

Expanding Into Boarding

As families asked for more support, boarding became a natural extension of our mission. We created a space where dogs could relax, decompress, and feel at home. Our boarding wasn’t about kennels — it was about comfort, routine, and individualized attention. Dogs weren’t just staying with us; they were staying with people who knew their quirks, fears, and joys.

Grooming, Reimagined

Grooming grew out of a need we saw again and again: dogs struggling with traditional grooming environments. We knew it could be different. So we built a grooming experience centered on emotional safety, gentle handling, and a pace that respects each dog’s comfort level. Breaks, decompression time, and cooperative care became standard, not special requests.
